I am Christiaan Dekker, an artist with a contemporary perspective on traditional printmaking techniques. I combine craftsmanship with a personal vision. Each piece is created entirely by hand, from carving to printing, and bears the marks of that process. Subtle variations make every print unique and give it character.

My art varies in content and execution, yet remains recognizable through my approach. I don’t commit to a single motif but keep searching for balance between calm and tension, tradition and innovation. Each piece has its own character, built on the same attention, strength, and rhythm as its foundation.
