Craft and Vision
I am Christiaan Dekker, a Dutch artist with a contemporary approach to traditional techniques. In my studio in Leusden, I combine craftsmanship with my own artistic vision.
My work ranges from relief prints to refined pencil drawings, each created with care, precision, and passion. As a versatile creator, I constantly experiment with techniques and materials to produce unique, expressive artworks. My passion for making art is endless.

Unique work
Every piece of art I create is made entirely by hand with care and attention. This artisanal process makes each piece unique. In my limited editions, subtle differences in details such as the texture of the material, the inking and the printing technique ensure that no two works are ever exactly the same.
This individuality not only gives my work its own character, but also tells a story about the process behind the creation. It is a tangible reflection of dedication, precision and love for art.

Working method in the Atelier
My studio is compact, which means I can't print all the works in an edition at once. That's why I work in small editions, which helps me make the most of the space and produce each piece with precision.
This method keeps my production manageable and guarantees the quality of each work of art. This way, each work remains exclusive, gets the attention it deserves and not just any print is created, but a carefully made, authentic piece.
